Charts, tabs & stock cards
How Do I Read a Stock Card?
A card brings together the symbol, available price and change, bid/ask when supplied, index weight, point sensitivity, contribution, and a compact chart.
What problem does this solve?
You want to understand the figures grouped around one symbol in the dashboard.
Quick answer
A stock card combines price movement with IVV-based S&P weight and estimated contribution context. Bid and ask can be blank when the feed does not provide those quote fields.
Steps
- Start with the ticker, displayed price, and dollar or percentage change.
- Read bid and ask only when values are present.
- Use Index weight and Pts/$1 as sensitivity context for the current S&P basket.
- Read the contribution value and compact chart as the symbol's selected-basket movement view.
What you should see
Cards may have different available quote fields. A missing bid or ask does not by itself mean the stock price is zero or the app has placed an order.
If it still doesn't work
Record the symbol, field, session, feed, and timeframe. Do not send brokerage credentials or sensitive account information.
