Market Watch 360 — Software License Agreement
These License Terms explain how customers may access and use the Market Watch 360 desktop application. We want our licensing to be simple, transparent, and fair. Market Watch 360 is licensed software. Customers purchase or subscribe to the right to use the application under the terms of their selected license. Purchasing a license does not transfer ownership of the software or its source code.
Market Watch 360 uses trial, monthly, upfront-purchase, and complimentary license types. Selected purchase prices are displayed on the Pricing page; checkout and license activation are not available through this local preview.
Monthly Subscription License
The selected monthly license is $29.95 USD per month and provides access to Market Watch 360 while the subscription remains active.
Pay $29.95 USD on a monthly billing cycle.
Continue using the software while the subscription is active.
Cancel future renewals through the available cancellation process.
Retain access through the current paid period unless the applicable purchase terms say otherwise.
Review renewal and pricing details before purchase.
When a subscription expires or is canceled, access to licensed features may be restricted after the applicable subscription period ends.
One-Time Purchase License
The selected upfront software license is $299 USD. It includes the first 12 months of license continuation and maintenance.
Pay $299 USD initially; the first 12 months of continuation and maintenance are included.
No automatic monthly software subscription for that license.
Beginning in year two, $95 USD per year is required for continued access.
Use the software according to the purchased license terms.
Review included software versions, updates, support, and activation rights before purchase.
This is not a lifetime-access license. Standard upgrades are included while annual coverage is active; separate products, premium services, and third-party data subscriptions may have different terms.
Free Trial License
Market Watch 360 has selected a free 14-day trial for eligible customers to evaluate the software before purchasing. Trial licenses are not issued through this local website yet.
No software purchase is required to begin an approved free trial.
Trial access lasts 14 consecutive days from license activation.
Features and limitations, if any, will be explained before activation.
Trial access may expire automatically when the trial period ends.
Continuing beyond the trial requires an appropriate license.
Submitting a trial request or verifying an email does not activate a trial. Access begins when an approved trial license is activated.
Complimentary License
Market Watch 360 may provide complimentary licenses to selected users for testing, demonstrations, promotions, or other approved purposes.
Duration and included features will be established when the license is issued.
Complimentary licenses are not automatically transferable.
Complimentary access does not guarantee permanent access unless expressly stated.
2. License Activation
Market Watch 360 may require license activation to verify that a customer has valid access. Activation may involve:
A license key or customer account
A license verification service
Device registration
Verification of subscription or purchase status
The number of permitted devices and any transfer or replacement procedures will be specified with the applicable license. Customers should not attempt to bypass activation controls or use a license beyond its permitted scope.
3. License Duration and Renewal
Monthly licenses remain valid for their paid subscription periods, subject to the applicable terms. One-time licenses remain valid for the software rights and duration specified at purchase. Trial and complimentary licenses remain valid for their authorized periods.
Monthly renewal and cancellation terms will be provided before purchase. The upfront license includes the first 12 months of continuation and maintenance; beginning in year two, the required $95 USD annual fee maintains software access. This is separate from any monthly subscription.
4. License Suspension
A license may be suspended or restricted for reasons such as:
Expired subscription or trial
Unresolved payment failure
Unauthorized license sharing
Attempts to bypass activation or security controls
Fraudulent account activity
Material violations of the software license terms
Security concerns requiring temporary action
Where appropriate, Market Watch 360 will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Suspension does not automatically mean that a customer's license has been permanently terminated.
5. License Reinstatement
A suspended or expired license may be eligible for reinstatement. Depending on the situation, reinstatement may require:
Renewal of a subscription
Resolution of an outstanding payment
Verification of account ownership
Correction of a licensing violation
Assistance from customer support
Restoration of access depends on the applicable licensing terms and the reason for suspension. Customers may contact Market Watch 360 through the website for assistance.
Market Watch 360 is a Windows desktop application. The licensing system is intended to verify whether a customer is authorized to use the application.
When the licensing backend becomes available, the desktop application may communicate with the Market Watch 360 license service to:
Activate a license
Confirm its validity
Check subscription expiration
Confirm trial eligibility
Apply authorized license status changes
Assist with license recovery or reinstatement
The exact verification frequency, offline-use allowances, and device activation limits will be finalized before launch. License verification is separate from the customer's market-data connection. The licensing system does not need access to the customer's Alpaca API secret to determine whether a software license is valid.
7. Customer Market-Data Accounts
Market Watch 360 customers obtain and maintain their own supported market-data accounts. Alpaca API credentials are entered within the desktop application. The Market Watch 360 website does not collect customer Alpaca API keys.
Software licensing fees are separate from fees charged by third-party market-data providers, unless a specific offer expressly states otherwise. A valid Market Watch 360 license does not guarantee entitlement to every market-data feed.
8. Permitted Software Use
A valid license permits the customer to install and use Market Watch 360 according to the license purchased or granted. Customers may use the application for market monitoring, information display, charting, and analysis. Unless otherwise authorized, customers may not:
Redistribute copies of the software.
Sell or share unauthorized license keys.
Circumvent licensing or activation controls.
Modify the software to defeat security restrictions.
Represent the software as their own product.
Use the software in violation of applicable law or third-party data agreements.
These restrictions do not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Software Updates and Support
Market Watch 360 may release new versions, improvements, fixes, and additional features. The updates and support included with a license depend on the selected plan. Monthly subscribers and one-time purchasers may have different update entitlements; any differences will be disclosed before purchase.
New features announced as planned or in development are not guaranteed to become available by a particular date.
10. License Transfers and Device Changes
Customers may sometimes need to replace a computer, reinstall Windows, or move the application to another device. Market Watch 360 intends to provide a reasonable process for legitimate device changes.
Specific activation limits, deactivation procedures, and transfer rules will be explained when the licensing system is finalized. Contact support if a valid license cannot be activated after a legitimate hardware change. No unlimited-device or automatic-transfer rights are promised unless included in the purchased license.
Expiration of a time-limited complimentary license
Termination for a material violation, where permitted by law
Other conditions expressly stated in the applicable license agreement
When a license ends, access to the application or licensed features may be disabled. Ending access does not transfer ownership of the customer's third-party market-data accounts or API credentials to Market Watch 360. Any applicable statutory customer rights remain in effect.
12. Ownership and Intellectual Property
Market Watch 360 and its original software, graphics, documentation, branding, and related intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners. A license grants permission to use the software under the applicable terms; it does not grant ownership of the application, source code, trademark, or intellectual property.
Third-party trademarks, financial index names, and company logos remain the property of their respective owners.
13. No Trade Execution
Market Watch 360 is display-only software. It is designed to help customers see and understand market activity. The application does not place trades or execute orders. Customers remain responsible for their own trading and investment decisions.
14. Changes to Licensing
We may introduce new licensing options, product editions, or features as Market Watch 360 develops. New purchasing options will be described before customers select them. Material changes affecting an existing paid license will be handled in accordance with the customer's agreed terms and applicable law.
15. Questions and Support
For help with activation, subscriptions, one-time licenses, device changes, or reinstatement, please contact Market Watch 360 through the Help & Contact page.
