Where Do I Find My Alpaca API Credentials?
Alpaca's Market Data API guide points account holders to the API Keys area in the Alpaca dashboard. Keep the key ID and secret private.

Alpaca's dashboard has an API Keys area. Generate or rotate the key pair there; the website never asks you to paste it here.
Steps
- Sign in to your Alpaca account using Alpaca's official website.
- Open the API Keys area in the dashboard.
- Use Alpaca's current Generate New Keys flow and keep the key ID and secret somewhere private.
- Enter the pair only in the Market Watch 360 desktop app's Connect → API Key dialog.
What you should see
The Alpaca dashboard displays an API key ID and a secret associated with your account. Treat both as credentials; the website does not receive them.
If it still doesn't work
If the secret is no longer available, follow Alpaca's current key-rotation instructions. Never include the old or new secret in a support message.
