Charts, tabs & stock cards
How Do I Zoom, Reset, or Expand a Chart?
Use the chart toolbar's zoom, reset, and expand controls. In the separate stock chart, zoom changes how many bars are visible while keeping the latest price in view.
What problem does this solve?
A chart is too compressed or has been zoomed away from the latest movement.
Quick answer
The reference chart toolbar includes zoom, Reset, and Expand controls. These change presentation, not the market data or the selected basket.
Steps
- Confirm which chart has focus: the combined S&P weighted-move chart or a separate stock chart.
- Use its zoom controls to change the displayed range.
- Use Reset to restore the combined chart's full session and automatic price scale; a pop-out also has Reset and Latest.
- Use Expand / Restore only on the combined chart, then check its interval if the history still looks compressed.
What you should see
The same selected chart is redrawn at a different viewing scale; a separate stock chart may offer its own controls.
If it still doesn't work
If controls are missing, note the installed app version and window size. Exact zoom behavior needs a release-build check.
