How Do I Select a Chart Timeframe?

Choose an interval from the timeframe control above the chart. Available history and detail can differ by symbol, feed, and chosen interval.

What problem does this solve?

You want to change the amount of time represented by a chart bar or interval.

Quick answer

Select 5 min, 15 min, 30 min, or 1 hour from the chart toolbar. Available history depends on the symbol or basket and provider feed.

Steps

  1. Open the main or native stock chart.
  2. Open the timeframe selector in the chart toolbar.
  3. Choose 5 min, 15 min, 30 min, or 1 hour in the development preview.
  4. Allow the chart to refresh before comparing its shape or history.

What you should see

The chart redraws using the selected interval. A shorter interval usually shows more granular bars, while history limits can reduce how far back the chart reaches.

If it still doesn't work

Check whether the symbol has data at that interval and whether the app is connected. Include the selected interval in a support request.
