How Do I Change Between Area and Candlestick Charts?
Use the chart-type selector in the chart toolbar and choose Area or Candlestick. The separate stock chart also exposes these two chart styles.

You want to view a chart as a filled area or as individual candles.

Use the chart-style selector and choose Area or Candlestick. The native stock-chart window offers both styles.
Steps
- Open the chart you want to change.
- Select the chart-type control in its toolbar.
- Choose Area or Candlestick.
What you should see
The same selected chart and interval drawn in the chosen style. A style change does not change the underlying data or basket.
If it still doesn't work
If the chart is empty, first check the data connection, symbol, session, and available history.
