Charts, tabs & stock cards

How Are Stocks Ranked in Each View?

Ranking depends on the selected tab and sort setting. The Biggest Movers view has its own movement measure; not every view uses raw percentage change.

What problem does this solve?

A stock appears in a different position after changing tabs or sorting.

Quick answer

The selected tab and sort setting can rank stocks by different measures. A large price mover need not be a large weighted contributor.

Steps

  1. Check the active All, Down, Up, Impact, or Biggest Movers tab.
  2. Read the Sort By selection above the stock cards.
  3. Compare the same symbol on the same time interval before and after switching the sort.
  4. Use Find if you need to locate a symbol within the current basket.

What you should see

The visible order changes to reflect the selected view or sort, while the underlying security remains the same.

If it still doesn't work

If a symbol disappears unexpectedly, record the active tab, basket, sort, and app version for support.
