How Do I Report a Calculation That Looks Incorrect?

Include the S&P basket, symbol, displayed units, feed, session/time, and a cleared screenshot if available. The current app does not calculate official SPX, Nasdaq-100, or Dow values.

What problem does this solve?

A displayed weighted value appears inconsistent with another figure.

Quick answer

Record the unit, selected S&P basket, IVV weight reference, symbol, and timestamp before comparing with an official index value. The app estimates from up to 30 stocks.

Steps

  1. Identify whether the disputed number is a stock return, percentage-point contribution, S&P-point estimate, or Pts/$1 sensitivity.
  2. Check the IVV-based weight, previous-close reference, and whether the point scale is marked as estimated from SPY's prior close × 10.
  3. Verify the same interval, session, and feed on both screens.
  4. Send the displayed inputs and a cleared screenshot through Technical support.

What you should see

A calculation report with enough context to reproduce the estimate and compare like quantities.

If it still doesn't work

Do not send Alpaca credentials or imply an illustrative website image is a live market record.
